I was born and raised in Mar del Plata, Argentina, so Rioplatense Spanish is my first language. When I moved to the U.S. at 16, I was surrounded by other kinds of Spanish, and even though it was technically the same language, I struggled to fully express myself.
That's when I learned that language isn't just words. It's how we express ourselves and connect with people. It led me to a major in Literature and Linguistics and a Master's degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language.
I was trained as a traditional Spanish teacher, and I saw firsthand that the system moves you through levels, not toward your actual life. So I built a different method: the fastest way I know to become fluent in Rioplatense Spanish.
